Types of Commission

Below are some examples of the kinds of commission I offer!

All prices listed are base prices and certain factors may further increase the commission price. These factors include: complexity of the character's design and pose, the number of characters depicted and the complexity of the background.

Portrait Commissions

Base price: £20.00

High quality artwork depicting a character up to the neck/shoulder area. Includes a simple background!

Additional character base price: +£10.00

-Line art: An illustration that consists of line art with no colours or shading
-Greyscale: An illustration that is lined, coloured and shaded in black and white
-Flat Colours: An illustration that is lined and coloured with very basic shading, highlights and shadows
-Digital painting: An illustration that is lined and coloured and also includes more complex shading, highlights and shadows

How do I request a commission?

There you will find important information regarding various things like commission alterations, cancellations and payment.

By sending me a commission request, you will be confirming that you have read and agreed to my terms and conditions, so make sure you know what you're agreeing to!

2. Click here to fill in a commission application form!

Please do not send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot.
Once I have accepted your commission, I will request that you to send me a payment (Commissions can be paid for either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after the final sketch approval!)

3. The design process

What to expect during each stage of the commission:

Stage 1: I will agree to the terms of your commission request and ask for payment (this can be the full amount upfront or half of the total amount and you will pay the rest at a later stage)

stage 2: I will first provide you with a few rough sketches and ask you to decide which concept art you like. At this stage you are welcome to offer further input and guidance on aspects to include/omit from the final artwork, if necessary!

Stage 3: I will then send you the final sketch and ask you to authorize it before I proceed with the work any further (If you have only paid half of the commission costs at this point, you will be asked to provide the rest of the payment before I continue)

Stage 4: I will then send you the work in progress (WIP) once I have selected the flat colours (if applicable) and ask for your insight on their suitability!

Stage 5: Once the commission is complete, I will send you a high resolution file of the final illustration as a PNG!

I will do by best to keep in contact with you regularly throughout the process to keep you up to date on your artwork's progress!
